Lilacs are one of the two-block-high flowers released in 1.7. They can be found in most grassy biomes and appear

Lilac

as a slender green stalk with small purple flowers branching off. Like most flowers, they cannot be grown on Grass Blocks by using Bone Meal; however, it does have some effects on them.

Bone Meal[]

When Bone Meal is used on a Lilac (or any two-block-high flower) it will drop a duplicate of itself for the player to pick up.
